The MTI Students Touching Lives
During morning devotions I began to share with the MTI students an excerpt from another missions organization’s news update. It was an article on the needs of a Colombian missionary. I explained how they could take part in reaching out to the guerrillas in the jungles of Colombia. The students responded quickly to the need.
They needed to work together to make small parachutes out of simple cotton material and nylon strings. Some of the students will put the parachutes together and they will be used to deliver small packages of Christian literature, including bibles, and short wave radios set to Christian stations, and much more.
Here is a report from one of our former students:
Hi my name is Francis,
I am a graduate of the MTI. I wanted to thank you for your support and love that you have shown me. I am from Chiapas, Mexico.
When I came to MTI it was very hard for me because I did not speak fluently in Spanish. My native language is Tzental dialect from my area.
I was not able to finish High School in Chiapas because there wasn’t a high school there. I had many challenges against me but I had the confidence that my brothers and sisters in Christ would be there to help me accomplish all that God put in my heart. After graduating from MTI I went on to finish my education and this year I graduated from High School.
