Hello Everyone,

We have just one week before our team departs for Matamoros, Mexico to work on the new Missions Training Institute building.  God has truly put together a Nehemiah team to work on the building.  It started with over 70 people expected to go, then with the news blasts concerning violence and Swine flue, we dropped down to about 30 people, and then we only had three left.  God has rebuilt the team, and now we have about 25 Americans, and about 20 Mexicans who aren’t afraid of the devils propaganda.

God put this project in my heart, because I’ve seen the tremendous fruit that has come from this little Missions training school over the last 12 years.  I’ve ministered in the villages with them, I’ve been on missions trips with them, and slept on concrete floors out in the boonies with them, and every time, their compassion, their willingness to suffer, and their love for the people blew me away.

Last year when their finances were scarce, the students made a decision to stay with barely enough food to eat, and the teachers decided to stay without pay.  I’ll do anything to help people like this.  I’ve been with many other Americans who have ministered with the students, and every one of them were so impressed.  They said the students had so much fire, so much passion and a sincere hunger for Jesus. It’s contagious. This is what I want for myself and for my family.

Now the time is drawing near, and now once again we are praying and trusting God to do a miracle.  We need materials to finish the school.  I’m praying that God will move on your heart, so that you will have a desire to help support this Nehemiah project.  I’ve found that people want to join something that’s really producing fruit, something that’s building the Kingdom of God, and this is such a project.

Many years ago a wise old lady asked me to do something, and I told her I’d pray about it. She told me, “Richard, if God needs something done and you can do it, don’t make him have to speak to you in an audible voice, or have to hit you up side of the head, just do it”,  so I did it.

Please make a commitment to finance one part of the wall, your part. Just do it, because God needs it.

Sincerely

Richard Rogers
