  The 2008 Graduates of MTI

What a tremendous year we had in 2008! The students celebrated a triumphant end of their two years here at MTI. In looking back at the time they have had here, we have seen lives transformed for the glory of God. When Guanerge first came to the Institute seeking God’s will for his life, and through his time here at the Institute his confidence has risen and on a recent mission trip to Uruapan , Michoacán , Mexico God used His life in a mighty way.

Guanerge had this to say “This trip has changed my life I have seen the Lord use my life to touch others in ways that I never seen before. We arrived to one of the Purepecha’s village to evangelize by dramas, preaching and having youth rally’s to reach the youth, however the Mayor of the town would not give us permission. We spent the rest of our time serving the local  people in whatever way we could. We repaired houses, painted businesses and as we did we prayed for the people that they would see Jesus in us. At the end of our time there we were presented to the town by the mayor who declared in front of everyone that we had been sent by God as missionaries to help the people in the village.  I knew that without words we were being a witness to the people of the love of God.”

Project: Parachutes for Columbia was a success!!!!!!!!

In the last letter the students of MTI were working together to make parachutes to send to the Voice for the Martyrs. The Parachutes will be then sent to a missionary that flies over the jungles Columbia, South America to deliver bibles, Christian material to the rebels that are fightingagainst the government. We have recently heard that these parachutes have made it to the hands of some of the leaders in the guerrilla armies. This is an answer to pray because before we sent them we prayed that God would use the parachutes to carry the truth to the leaders of the armies to change their hearts.
